Lots of reasons why that's a terrible idea, but, we went for it in any case.
Per my first post on the subject Bob. :)

$300 is under £200. For a week? Sounds about right. Wait until you see the price of a full residential summer camp. It can be over $1000

The camp that i worked at doing BUNAcamp charges $2700 for a two week residential

Commuting between Andover and Waltham might be a little painful - Route 128/I-95 can be very slow going...

What about cutting through Rt 2/117 or am I thinking of another of the off shoots that wing by Burlington?

But yeah, commuting generally won't be fun most places.

Based on my searches of the forum I have come up with Lexington, Concord and Sudbury.

Both Lexington and Concord are beautiful places. I know nothing of Sudbury, though. What I would like to gently know is how much you are making to be able to afford property in such areas? When we looked at Lexington, we're talking 800k for a 4 bed townhouse. I guess because I wasn't a home owner in the UK, and thus no equity, makes it harder for me. But our family income is just under $200k, and there is not a chance we could afford to buy in Concorde or Lexington.
