Moving az to Boston

I am moving in just under 4 weeks and have yet to find a place to move with. I am leaning towards ABF since we don't have much stuff (1 bedroom apt with not much stuff at all) I don't mind packing my own stuff. Mayflower is charging an arm and a leg and I can't afford to pay much. Does anyone have any insight on ABF or other good moving company’s?

Rent a budget truck and drive it yourself...we just saved a fortune doing that from CO to IL, a one way truck rental was about 2/3 less than paying someone to do it for you.;)

Just not uHaul...Penske ain't bad.

I just used a local family business when I moved from Maine to Mass, still a couple grand for pack, load, move, store the night, deliver and unload.

I used ABF a few years ago to move from NC to Boston. From what I remember the price was pretty good, and if you can really squeeze your stuff and save a few feet in the truck the price you pay reduces.

Much easier than driving a truck - especially if you're moving cars as well.
