Moving to another state after filing AOS

Hi all ,

I got my k1 visa recently and I am going to file my AOS very soon in New York city. I was wondering if we move to another state 6 months after filing our AOS how does this move effect the process of our application? I really appreciate your help.

MFS,

We are facing the same situation. And it seems like transferring files is
very troublesome. One experience posted in this NG was that it delayed
their process two additional years; but it depends on where you transfer the
file to. We're contemplating transferring from NY to NJ as we ARE moving to
NJ before December.
