Yes, isn't funny we were talking about that show. Once he offered people in a Welsh town a few quid to become Argentinian, they were all quite happy about it and waving flags. Or something like that. I used to really enjoy that show.

I've been watching his movies since he came out with Roger and Me. For some reason I am drawn to watch them, then watch amused while many of the Americans I know get all flustered and angry at them, wanting to rebuff what he says but not able too.
I liked Sicko, I didn't like Columbine as much. I'll be waiting to see this one.

Perhaps they haven't taken Economics 101 yet? I like MM's movies, by the way - they are very good propaganda.

The man starts conversations.........

for all whom think America is full of dullards and sheep....... Michael Moore expells that myth.

Even if you think he's a twat, at least he makes you think.

Its interesting how he brings out such negative reactions in people. I admire people who are prepared to stand up and fight the big corporations.

He sometimes over eggs it to make a point but otherwise he makes interesting observations that others are not making.
Indeed it is and further more it should be shown in American schools and critiqued.
All folk should be exposed to arguements from all sides to allow own opinions to be formed.
And yes Moore does over play it at times...but the points he raises far out way that.
Shame not more folk of influence stand up and speak on behalf of the oppressed small folk of America...

Afraid a lot of the world does to a degree think of America like that. Seems folk don't want to be challenged over there and become very defensive when are....and as for thinking..no thats a little unfair, won't go there.

Generally, people are much more afraid of socialism/communism here.

As much as I love guns I detest the NRA, so the part when he pays a visit to Charlton Heston was fantastic.

He is a twat, but a twat that has made $50m through commenting on the system he despises.

I think someone should make an expose of him.

I don't like loads of folks. Still listen to them or watch them occasionally.

Maybe it's constant sweeping, superior, ignorant and just plain irritating stereotypes being passed off as fact that make us a bit defensive. Perhaps.

Also Michael Moore = human Rorschach test.

True enough. One can but wonder why this pathological fear of anything remotely Socialist when so many get such a raw deal in a country that could do far more for it's citizens?

And that being so, why i wonder how it is that a lot of the world finds Americans so ignorant and gullible and that they live up the the stereotypes at times?
Why are Americans so amazed even hurt when foreigners comment in the negative with regards to features of American politics.? And equally amazed to learn we had six weeks holiday a year and a free medical system?
No folk like Michael Moore can surely show another way is possible as well as the big one....question what is happening for what reason and who is profiting....
