Default Mother's Day UK

Friendly reminder... Mother's Day in the UK is March 14th.

If like me you didnt buy a US card last year gives you enough time to get something organized.

My Aunt reminded me of this yesterday (phew) found a lovely "thank you" card for my Mum and an M&S voucher has been sent

Thanks! I always forget since I moved here. Just need to go and get a card with Mum not Mom now.

Thanks for the reminder.

That gives me plenty of time to get something off to Mum.

Oh thanks for the reminder! Won't be able to get an actual 'Mothers Day' card here though, but I like the idea of a thank you card

For those of you who can't find Mothers Day or Mum - Moonpig is your friend - I know it doesn't seem quite as personal but it is quicker and I think cheaper than posting from here.

I am looking on Amazon.co.uk I have been sending people books instead of cards recently, 5 quid or so and they get there in a few days.

Also Valueflora.com has some good deals, I once sent my mum a bouqet of ballons and she loved them, they have a single ballon this year.

Thanks from me too - I don't have a British calendar this year, so it would have totally passed me by until it was all too late!

You got there before me.

Moonpig can in some ways be MORE perosnal, IMHO - you can get them to do one-off bespoke cards with your own photos in them and stuff... We use this a lot and it's WELL worth it!

That's true but I got scolded for not sending a 'handwritten' card to a certain family member by another family member so I am careful to send all the old farts a cheap card with my handwritten scrawl now and everyone else gets a moonpig card that I spent an hour designing hahaha!

You can always design one on your computer and sign it by hand.

By staggering coincidence, that's my mum's birthday! She'll be 81.
