). I do want to visit Alaska, but this is Mother's Day ... so it's up to her. I was thinking of a few days at the Bellagio resort on the Las Vegas Strip, but done that. Somewhere really nice - a really nice hotel somewhere "nice". Not SF, Vegas, Chicago, Houston or PA, OH, IL, VA, WV ... somewhere mum hasn't been, but which doesn't involve a lot of walking. A nice resort somewhere, good food, things to see, etc.

Looking at Mall of America web site there are some pretty good deals, I am going to pick the best hotel available (not quite the Bellagio, since spending some time there, I sort of judge hotels against the Bellagio), but it will be fun for her. I can't stand shopping, always a quick affair with me, so it will be the man-made sights that I will be interested in seeing, and anyway I am a hopeless holiday maker (such a strange term, like we make holidays). So will be drafting legal papers while sipping coffee in some nice coffee shop in the mall while mum does some shopping. I hope there's a Marshall's there.
