personally i have a mothers day reminder email setup at interflora.co.uk, that thing is a lifesaver.

also if i get home anytime around mothers day i buy a few cards to tide me over for a few years.. otherwise its blank cards with "mothers day" added in pen

I leave my 2 UK brothers to do Mothers day thing UK date. We have always sent our cards & flowers on the American date. That way Ma gets 2 mothers days.

Interflora has proved a life saver for us since moving here last September! We weren't very good back in the UK but usually managed to scrape through with a day to spare - here we've missed lots of Birthdays and other special occassions and when you remember usually the flowers are there the next day - before you've even got up!

Instead of buying flowers for my mum I have just brough some seeds for people in Africa via save the children website/mothers day alternatives....Thought they would appreciate it more....here is the website http://www.savethechildren.org.uk/sc...mothersday=yes

Mother's Day AGAIN? Seems like this is happening every year now...

I usually just give her a call. She gets all excited like an international call is a huge expense these days. She doesn't know about onesuite and voip and all the other little tech advancements. Some day I'll introduce her to the internet.
