Thanks guys .. great tips there

I'm fed up of being bitten, although I did find it worse over in Florida for some reason.

Will keep you posted on the products and how effective they are!

Doesn't it just.

When we were in Mexico I was fed up with black stripes across my feet where the Deet had taken off the plastic and transferred it to my feet

Exactly that's why I like Bite Shield...just clip in on your belt. I even clip it onto my swimsuit when I'm sunbathing in the pool...'cos that's then the bugs really make a meal of me.

Sorry to sound a bit sceptical, but I would have usually dismissed something that wasn't a spray. Saying that though, I hate the sprays with a passion, so I'll take your advice and get some.

Can you only buy online or from stores too?

PS .. read about your scary caller .. how frightening. Glad you're ok

I bought it around 6 yrs ago from Costco but I've never seen it for sale since. I agree I don't normally believe those sort of things will work but I was desperate. ..I was being eaten alive here. Mozzie bites usually take a couple of months to heal and deer flies...they are sent by the devil himself.

Seriously I've never been bitten by anything when I have the Bite Shield...hubby gets eaten by mozzies and he uses it too.

Thank you for your kind words...a warning to all methinks.
