Mortgages for NEW ex-pats
Does anyone know how to get a bank to lend mortgage monies on our owned USA home....because we are being told we have to have TWO YEARS credit history in USA and they will not accept UK credit history. We need to re-finance to take advantage of cheaper rates than our UK loans used to pay for the move across the pond. Thanks Charles

If your L/V < 70, shop it around -- there may be a slim chance you'll find an offer. Use independent brokers as well as financial institutions.
Meanwhile, start working on building up a US credit history.
