Funny that this show airs on FX. How long before the Fox overloads cancel it?

Gal went "undercover" living and working based on minimum wage jobs. Lucky her, at the end she could walk away from it.

I did have a giggle when he was going through some of the free things to do in Columbus with kids, go visit a bank, take a tour of a hospital, go to the animal shelter.......!!!!!!

I can't find the words to describe how depressing it made me feel and how angry.
The need for welfare reform, a higher min. wage (which by the way has not been increased by goverment in 8 years) and free health care for the poor was outstanding. A really sad and yet necessary show.
I hope some politicians (from both sides) were watching.

Didn't see it yet, had to tape it because it was on too late for me. But, I've heard the rest of the series is going to be pretty good as well.

I read a review, missed the first one, but a series, I think he and his GF, who also got a small part in Supersize were supposed to experience the whole series but she made it clear that after the first one anything else would seriously jeopardize their relationship. So I think he does the commentary.

It needs to be highlighted certainly, but why not use an actual family that are living this way, follow them around and show the reality of living this way without a foreseeable change instead of using someone that at the end of the day can go back to living in luxury?

Certainly that's the premise for the rest of his programs coming up....a Christian that goes to live with a Muslim, etc. You can always say "Oh wow that's horrible" but until you've lived that way, you truly will never know.
I remember a book I read years ago-"Black Like Me", was quite a sensation in its time about a white man passing as a black man and walking in those shoes.
