Default More on the TSA

I really don't know why they bother:

A brief summary - The TSA wants to privatise the proposed Registered Traveller program; the program allows passengers to pay a subscription to get through airport security quicker once a background check has been completed.

Of course, no terrorist would ever think of applying for that program.

Good point - never thought about that.
Personally i'm more worried about what the baggage handlers could be taking out of your luggage - i have some acquaintances who work at Belfast International Airport. People who bring cigs and booze back from spain are their favourite targets, though the croatian national football team's kit once got "lost in transit"
To avoid this i always pack some old/dirty clothes and towels and put these on top of all the stuff i'm atcually going to wear.

yeah the general pax don't really think about it but it's a warning...dodgy baggage handlers at airports are good at transporting their drugs/whatever inside unlocked cases and get their baggage handler mates at the destination to hopefully retrieve them unless it all goes wrong and the poor innocent pax get arrested and then try explaining that......it goes on ...coz they know me well at iah i insist my bag is screened prior to check in so i can lock it...best be safe
