Yey :)
Hi miss Katy and everyone else,
I've pretty much just been sleeping since I got back from London and now I should be revising for exams or writing a 4000 word project...so it might be next week until I have the experience all written up for kamya.com and our website. Here's our timeline:
Just a quick note for now - telling the Dr (it wasn't Dr Phelan) that I'd been in hospital one night (over a year ago) for depression didn't cause any problems. She did ask if I was suicidal then and if I'd ever tried to kill myself and what medication if any had I been on. But yeah...still got the visa so telling the truth was ok. Hehe, oh yeah and the guy that interviewed me started telling me the story of the two people who met online because they photographed grave stones - I'd already read about him telling someone this story in one of the interview experiences. But I just smiled and pretended to be interested. He was just wanting to hear a more interesting story of what Ben and I talked about when we first met online. Thanks to Katy and the helpful people here and your websites. It was pretty amazing to hear people at the Embassy who didn't even know they needed a K-1 visa and so started making the trip to the US or planned the wedding without taking the paperwork into account. Made us very glad that we knew what we were doing. take care ~ Jennie :D |

Updated website
Ok, I've finished my exams and degree. Yey. :D So I've finally had the time to write up my interview experience and add it to our website.
If you're interested in the Embassy in London then you can read it here by clicking 'Medical & Interview' on the frames: http://www.geocities.com/ben_jennie/Frames/main.html Or if you want it without frames then it's: http://www.geocities.com/ben_jennie/k-1interview.html I'll submit it to the kamya page now too. :) Good luck to everyone else with interviews coming up soon. take care ~ Jennie |
