My girlfriend and I are currently in the middle of gathering all the information/documents and evidence that we need for her to file the petition........but in the meantime, since I am in the U.K. I have wrote off to the Embassy in London to get the forms I need to fill out for my application for the visa, just to hurry things along.......hopefully they will be arriving in a week or two...
Anyway, the evidence that my girlfriend will be sending with the petition, does the INS keep this or do they send it off to the embassy in London? If they do keep it, I assume I will need copies of the evidence too, to take to my interview? Also, one quick question, the pictures we need to send of each other with the petition, with the side view of the head and all that.......whats that all about? Will a passport photo do? (I could turn my head to the side if it helps) ;) |

They can ask to see originals at the interview of anything that was sent as a photocopy in the original petition...this includes birth certs and divorce certs. > > > > You need adit pictures. They are with the head turned to the side, but they also have specific measurements. See K-1 section of Doc Steen site. Oh yeah.....
The copies of birth certificates and stuff like that, do we need to do anything special to them? Is a standard photocopy acceptable? |
