that's pretty ridiculous...they say flags that illegals bring with them, so what if someone weren't illegal then? What would they do?

And what happened to freedom of speech, okay, this would be expression...but still...

Another article on the law mentioned that it didn't matter if the flag was a Union Jack or the Mexican flag, had to be flown UNDERNEATH the American flag.

Its always been the law around here.......no-one has any problem with it...or if they do they just don't fly their own country flag....

The federal government has a set of laws on how the US flag is to be flown and in what position in relation to state, city and other country flags. The US flag is on top and other flags in order of priority, i.e. state, city, foreign, if on a single flag pole.

I found this bit interesting....because so many other countries flags are flown below the USA one...

When flags of two or more nations are displayed, they are to be flown from separate staffs of the same height. The flags should be of approximately equal size. International usage forbids the display of the flag of one nation above that of another nation in time of peace.

they are not laws however they are guidelines.

To make it law, again would supercede the US constitution.
