more evidence

l had my green card interview a week ago, everything went fine till the officer asked for my birth certificate .she rejected the certificate saying the registration on the certificate was too early , she issued me with a green form with a check list of what she want from me . she did take my finger prints for the green card but refused to issue the stamp untill l provide the evidence she wants. my questioned is how long does it usually take for ins to respond if you provide them with the evidence they want and is it possible for them to refuse the the application without a second interview.

"Too early"? Is she saying you are too old? If not, how was it "too early"?
