Makes we wish I put the money down for citizenship so I could use my vote to keep Romney out and keep the other Brit hater in.
The more recent the insult the bigger the insult in my book, and I probably would have sent a bust of Churchill back too.

It took you till now? What was funny was reading the comments in the Telegraph - they always ramp him on there as the antidote to Obama - so it was really hard for them to have an opinion on him after said this. It came at about the same time he made a comment about returning the WSC bust to the Oval Office.

While emphatically not a Cameron fan, I have to say I like his comeback to Romney's comment on Olympics preparation:

"We are holding an Olympic Games in one of the busiest, most active, bustling cities anywhere in the world. Of course it's easier if you hold an Olympics in the middle of nowhere." (Referring to Mitt's very own Salt Lake City games)

Ha, I thought the exact same thing!

It's remarkable how Romney's mind works (or doesn't). Granted he was only saying what most people were thinking... but on the same day you arrive on a semi-official trip?! Even worse it when the visit carried a not so subtle sub-text that he was visiting 'our friends' that Obama had treated so badly.
