I have a lovely linen blouse from that shop!!!!!

Some of their shirts are nice, remind me of a UK brand called MEXX.
Most of it is dire but my blouse isn't. No-one believes it comes from there.

A shop I do like is J. Crew, they have some nice stuff at the moment.
I looked in Ann Taylor Loft today, expecting great things after the comments on here but it all seemed very dull...a younger Christopher and Banks.
Another dull place that always looks as though it should offer more is J.Jill.

I used to love clothes shopping and now I dread it.
But I'm going to the UK in November with empty suitcases!!!!!

Aha....I forgot about another shop at my local mall which is a national chain store (Chicos).

This is a page from the 'What's New' section:

http://www.chicos.com/store/shelf.as...=1&navItemID=1

Can it get any worse?!

Decisions, decisions!

It's the high waistbands on the trousers that astonish me.....

I think Mary Tyler Moore circa 1975 must have been their 'creative' designer's role model....

Back home the real high waist bands on wide legged tailored trousers are back in can look very slimming on the Botty area

I've seen then here too in H&M. Interested to see how they look on. To me they look like dingarees without the straps.

I miss clothes shops where everything fit properly. Here they seem to make the hips too wide and the sleeves on tops don't have enough length. Also the quality of the material isn't as durable.
