Post Re: Missing British fashion-boohoo!

My local mall has a these shops already named here eg. Anthropologie, Hollister, Gap, Banana Republic, Abercrombie, Ann Taylor & Ann Taylor Loft, J Crew....

......with the exception of Anthropologie all the clothes are pretty tedious....imagine going from Maine to Honolulu, Alaska to Florida and everyone's wearing the same bloody clothes!

OTOH, the local mall also has some UK clothing stores: Reiss, Karen Millen & French Connection, although they're not cheap and I'd only tend to shop at their stores for something for a special occasion...I do have a lovely skirt which I bought from Karen Millen here to wear for a wedding.

For the US locations for Reiss and Karen Millen, here are the links:

Should add that I lost 50lbs last year (and kept it off) when I stopped eating out all around Houston. Went from a 14 in BR down to a 2!
What I love about Ann Taylor Loft is that in their clothes a size 6 fits me, despite being a size 10 in most other shops...

Sorry to be so shallow

I am totally with you - even if there should be no such thing as a size 2 in Banana Republic please explain to me how I ever got to be a size 14 in there! It's all relative.
