Minute Clinics

Can someone please tell me about these minute clinics. The way they are being advertised is that people can walk in and see a nurse practitioner(?) and get a prescription if needed!

Is this true?

Probably. In the UK the practise nurse often sees patients for minor stuff and can prescribe/dispense quite a range of treatments.

Are these the "clinics" that are located in drugstores? If so, I think they're opening up in my area. Such clinics could do a roaring trade in FL and other places with lots of oldies.

Yes, I have seen a few of these places. In NYC, there is one, that dose or did house calls.
