My friend's mum and her FIL have Alzheimer's it is a terrible illness. Her FIL has been in a home for approx. 10 yrs now. My friends mum doesn't recognise here and keeps asking her if she has a mum, terribly upsetting. More and more people seem to be affected by it nowadays, I just hope it doesn't affect anyone close to me.

I know, terrible stuff to be affected by it, but I dont' know if it's on the increase, I think people just use to call them senile...

My gran who's 83 is developing Dementia (very similar to Alzheimers) and those last few episodes with Mike were very true to life :( I thought Johnny and the producers did an excellent job :beer:

How have you seen them? They havent played here yet! Mike's still on vacation as far as we know!

Can someone please tell me how much longer we are going to have to endure this abusive relationship between charlie, shelley and the rest of the gang! :rolleyes:
