So you are looking at conception circa 1st March, give or take a few days.

Perhaps this post could come in useful next time we have a how craps the NHS is and I am OK becuase I will have cover through my job in the US discussion.

Full payment but with total removal of the blotch. It wasn't much, anyway. Removal of blotch was worth much more in reduced mortgage interest rate than the hospital bill.

Well it does make you think....and it's only in the diddly small print....so you think you've got great cover, like most of the benefits, on paper there superb, but in reality, there crap....it's caught a few people out where the missus works otherwise we probably wouldn't be any the wiser either.

Boiler,

In all the experiences I'm familiar with, if the healthcare provider is tardy in billing the insurance, ie sends a bill more than a year after the date of service, the insurance company will not pay it and it will be passed on to the patient. That might explain the situation. This has happened to me in the past and I know people who have had the same problem. In my case I just ignored it because it was just one doctor's visit and I wasn't going to pay for their laziness. Can't imagine what your friend should do though for a bill of that magnitude. Definitely should speak to the insurance company though.

Thanks, I have asked why the Insurance Co has not paid it.
