A matter of life and death

I'm supposed to visit a freind in Tampa, Florida tomorrow. I'm being advised by some people not to go due to Hurricane Wilma.
My flight leaves Los Angeles at 9:45 AM Monday arriving in Tampa at 7PM.
So should I still go, yes or no?

Think before you base your decision on a vote in a newsforum to call your airline. Wilma is suppose to hit western Florida before sunrise tomorrow morning. I doubt that your plane will be on time to make its scheduled arrival if it goes at all.

Depends.

Friend of the opposite sex? Sex? Then yes. Run the risk of death and pestilence together, and at least be happy.

Otherwise no. Would you have thought going to a well known place in Louisiana a month or two back was a good idea? No. No again.

Mind you, I had a grrreat weekend in said place in July. But, the only hurricanes were of the drinking variety (and she had plenty!).

On balance, no.

Get over ya big woos. Tampa will have nothing more than a light breeze and the odd shower.

As long as the plane lands without being blown to kingdom come, you should be fine.

(PS: Take your plastic mac)
