Martin Bashir to replace Barbara Walters
Hmmm,
Martin Bashir - the British journalist who interviewed Princess Diana and did the documentary about Michael Jackson, has quit his ITV job and will join ABC's 20/20 current affairs programme. Walters is retiring. http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/a...ing%20Standard It will be nice to see if the questions he will pose will be more enquiring than those by the American journos who always seem to me to be in awe of the celeb status of the people they're interviewing. Pity they're not bringing over Jeremy Paxman. How I miss him on the TV! :D :( |
Re: Martin Bashir to replace Barbara Walters
Bill O'Reilly can be OK sometimes, if you take him with a pinch of salt

I would love to see George W interviewed by Jeremy Paxman. It won't happen though, because Paxman would rip him to shreds.

I'm sure they can find someone else other than Martin Bashir to do the 20/20 slot. The people that edited MB's interview with Michael Jackson would probably edit out all the interesting bits and censor any interviews to death.
