Marriage to a Aussie

I met a wonderful woman on the internet. We are very much in love. We plan to be married on June 22nd 2002 in Australia. After some preliminary talks with immigration lawyers they are telling me i will never get her into the country. Does any one have any suggestions. I'm thinking that i should judt get her over here and marry her later.

Its so sad cause she has this weding already planned.

Please help...i'm so herat broken and sad

Well, perhaps you should explain why the lawyers are saying so. There has to be
a reason...

As someone else mentioned. Why would the lawyers say this?? After all, if you are
going to OZ to marry, you can even file I-130 there for her to come back. This will
cut MANY months off of filing it in the US.

How much did you pay these lawyers?

Why did they say that, unless she has a major prision sentence, or commited
immigration fraud before, why can't she go to the US with you?

I found out they are all about money. What ever suits them.
I dont know why she said that . But we had to put off our wedding plans cause that would mean we'd be apart for 2-4 months. And we'll come back to the USA and Marry a couple months later.
