Default Maintaining years of service?

What other benefits we can get aside from more weeks of vacation leave if we insist that the company maintains/recognizes our years of service(7 years) in their record when we move to US?

Try to get your notice period transferred and include the 7 years you worked for them in the UK in any severance package.

How much bargaining power do you have?

Relocation package?

Better salary? + More chance of getting laid off as too expensive.

Greater 401(k) contributions.
