I never know where I prefer - I just know my family is here, so I'm happy. Although the lack of The Daily Mail is a definite plus for the States.

Did you hear about the two Scousers who came to the US?
They had heard that there was money everwhere in the US and the streets were practically paved with gold.
They got straight off the plane in Florida on the Saturday flight from the UK, after reclaiming their baggage they went outside the airport to find a taxi.
As soon as they stepped outside one spots a $100.00 dollar bill lying on the sidewalk, he bends over to pick it up but then thinking the better of it, and it being the weekend he turns to his mate and says " Bollocks, I can't be arsed I'll start on Monday"

all she talks about is asylum seekers and what the mail just said about the country going to pot
i now have taken to openly laughing in her face and deriding the mail as a work of fiction barely better than the star

At least the daily sport is fun, the Mail is just vicious. You can tell who reads the Daily Mail on the OZ forum, because you see threads titled 'Right thats it I'm definitely leaving the UK now' and then they quote a one of incidence of some heinous kind. That always amuses me, cause OZ like the US has no crime thats why everyone needs to get out of the UK immediately (well after they sell their modest 3 bed semi for an absolute fortune that is) ..
