Been in NC just over three years now.. It`s quite different to jolly old Watford I can tell you 
We`ve been to a few states already..trying to find a good online place to get some foodstuffs and bacon

I have found a job now as well :-) just have to go through the background check 😍 yeah I am not home sick at all, I lived in NY for 6 years and after a few years was super homesick but went back and after 10 years im good! I think k having facetime etc makes it much easier, im sure I will miss a few things eventually but im happy here.

Have you seen a firefly yet? Those, by far, are my absolute (only) favourite bug that I've encountered Stateside. Beautiful little light shows, right on your doorstep!

So happy to see you're settling in well, Kelly! We fly in 3 days and DH (the Brit) is VERY excited. Bit of a crazy first week sorting car, bank, etc. but he's looking forward to all the little things, like you're posting about.

Oh fab! Where are you moving too? Im in Jacksonville NC, today we went to topsail beach it was so lovely! We have a family reunion BBQ next weekend and the weekend after is our 16th wedding anniversary so we are going to do a little cruise to see if we can spot dolphin!

It says Denver under her name in the left margin, so presumably than means about 25 miles NNW of Charlotte, NC .
