Lost UK Passport - Advice Needed
I've lost or misplaced my UK passport. Unfortunately I don't have a record of issue/expiration date or the passport number. I can approximate the month of issue and I can work out the year.
I looked at the form for reporting a lost passport, and it asks for those details. Am I screwed if I can't provide those? And when applying for a replacement passport, what docs should I supply? I have my previous, canceled passport (which was sent to Washington D.C. to support the application for the passport I've now lost). Would that be enough, or do I need to supply the birth certificate etc? I've got an international business trip coming up in mid-April. Would I get the replacement passport in time? Would an emergency passport be an option? |
