Because the stupid BCIS F'd up my AOS application by sending me a request for information I had already submitted!!!. Now my EAD application is suspended until they receive my I-129f notice of approval(I-797) that we already sent them back in late september. I believe if I have read the RFE properly, this also adds a further 90 days before I could request an interim EAD if the 1 year one still hasnt arrived. Looks like I'm houseboy for a few more weeks. :(

Bad luck Pimpbot. The queue was a bit shorter today at Home Depot...maybe you'll get hired tomorrow. ;) Seriously, that sucks and it's not like you can even enjoy the weather right now. Yet more patience required. Shame the patience pit is not bottomless.

I'm just glad I had money coming to me over here in various stages and that my wife has a good job. I'm sure others in my position wouldnt be so well off if they couldnt work for half a year or more.

Guess I'll be watching some spring baseball come March seeing that most of the games start at 12pm. I thought I'd be working. :D

Well that would be funny if I could actually work for McDonalds. But remember, I don't have an EAD. ;)

When dealing with the BCIS and associated government agencies one has to have "the patience of a saint" and then some....
