Looking to move to US, in a IT security job.
Hello,
I am looking into what i have to do to move to the US and where to look for job roles. I have a working visa that expires 2011 (through a previous job) and am currently employed as a penetration tester. Any tips, ideas, pointers or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks in advance. |

Isn't your working visa tied to the employer that sponsored it? ie, you can't use it to work at another company.

Re: Looking to move to US, in a IT security job.
I have some questions that you might be asked by the immigration service..
What's your penetration rate per hour? What is your experience in penetration? What do the subjects think of being penetrated so frequently? What makes your penetration better than that of a US citizen? Can a US Citizen penetrate on your behalf? Are any US Citzens pentrated during your working day? Do you have any samples following your penetration work? I'm sorry i couldn't resist :rofl: |

Re: Looking to move to US, in a IT security job.
If you are still in the US, you could transfer a valid H1 visa, but if your not in the US, the visa is probably void and won't be transferable, so your at the beginning of the pickle.
I'd not really want to be moving countries with a visa tied to a specific job in this economic climate personally though. |

What visa do you have?
i looked in other thread about different visa types and couldn't see O/A2 (saw O1). |
