Looking for expats in CT....
Hi fellow expats living around Hartford, CT and surrounding areas!
We are a new family (mid 30's with a 16 month daughter) living in Glastonbury, CT after relocating from the UK early 2011.
After meeting many great local friends we miss some british banter.
We are therefore calling out for any other expats in the area who fancies meeting up to share experiences, drink or two, catch a few games, and have some home humour.

We're about half an hour or so north of you on the CT/MA border. Moved here 8 years ago (me = L1A) and now have a daughter who's 2 tomorrow!
How are you enjoying CT? I've driven past Glastonbury lots of times (along Rte.2 on the way to the coast) but don't think I've ever seen the town.

We're about half an hour or so north of you on the CT/MA border. Moved here 8 years ago (me = L1A) and now have a daughter who's 2 tomorrow!

There's quite a few BE folks in CT, seems like a bit of a recent boom 
Might also have a CT group on FB? I know the Boston Brits group meet up very regularly but it might be a bit of a hike for you

I think I'm about an hour away. We're based in southwestern CT right now but are househunting.
We've looked for houses in Glastonbury and we quite like the town. There's a decent Irish pub in the centre that does excellent traditional music sessions once a week, I think, plus shows the Footie on the big screen. If we could find the right house for sale in that town, we might well consider it.
How are you & your wife liking Glastonbury, Davidsizer?
