Don't Hershey's own Cadbury now anyway?
Btw all you folks who moan about American chocolate not being as good as British chocolate, just be grateful you aren't diabetic like me! I'd be happy to eat any kind if I was allowed!

N0 offence intended but hen was the last time you had a real Cadbury bar ?
I don't think they taste anything like the original. Even my USC wife wont touch these now after having a real one in England.

About a month ago when I went back.....to be fair I'm not a huge chocolate fan so I could easily be wrong!

It is allowed.
Chocolate and its ingredients are carbs and if you watch the carbs you can have a bit of chocolate as a snack.
Take it from a long time diabetic ... you can have your sweets.

The only cadbury products I've found that compare to their UK counterparts are Mini Eggs, tbh. Mega happy about them putting out a Christmas version of them, too, now. Not so ecstatic about being only able to find them at the Safeway by the 'rents house in Modesto, and not at the one by my uni in San Francisco.

You can order UK Dairy Milk imported on British shops like British Isles, for example.
We won't touch them here!
Oh, around holidays if you check in World Market you will find the real UK Dairy Milk!!!
Just read the wrapper...if it's made in USA, the chocolate fat solids are lower, per FDA rules allowing lower than UK.

Trust me, when you go back to England for a visit, you will notice the difference.
Edit: Duty-Free stores, coming back into the USA from Canada, tend to have a good selection of the "Real-Deal" in case anyone is interested
Jim.

Sadly, it is not the same as Dairy Milk made in UK. Its American-made crap.

Thorntons do a diabetic chocolate. DH says it's a fairly acceptable option. I've not met an American chocolate that I really like yet. Hershey's including American Cadbury's, Whitmans, even See's' all pretty yucky. There might be an individual chocolate maker out there that I've not tried their product yet.

Yeah! I found that a few weeks ago! Thanks! British Isles is good for folk too as they do mail order.
