.I got to the Jacksonville office an hour early, which was good as the weekend traffic was already starting to build up. I was in and out in 15 mins flat. I've been there before and the staff there are always super nice - much different from my first experiences at the Seattle office 20+ years ago.
Some guy who had driven a relative there had his cell phone ring as I was signing in. He sat there taking the call - the officers at the front door were less than amused and turfed him out right there and then. Surprised they allowed him inside with it in the first place.

Congratulations to you both!Citizenship is the next step for me but we're moving across the country in two weeks time so the application is on the back burner. Be a new US citizen by the end of this year is my goal

I think it varies by the jurisdiction where you file. In LA, it typcially takes 4-5 months. Of course, they can wave their wand next week and the times will change completely.

it only took them one business day to process your biometrics? I had mine taken before you but it's still not updated on uscis website, i wonder why...
