Long Beach CA

From the seaport in LA Long Beach

What is a realistic commute time ? to residential areas $3m to $5m USD?

- Have no idea of the areas, so using price as guide
- No need for schools or local amenities as such, its just a 12 month contract where the house is thrown in as bonus.
- Just looking for approximate areas to start discussions with local estate agents

I suggest this is one of the reasons that the Internet exists. You have a computer... I suggest you start with Zillow.

Anyone in Santa Monica?

Based on what I have heard about commuting will probably spend 1 day per week in office, and rest at home/beach.

Are there decent places for men that lunch?

While out of the area you can log in with sigalert Los Angeles for round the clock traffic speeds. Easy to zoom into the Santa Monica to Long Beach route.

Will that be your one day at work, or your work/beach days?

I tend to be more productive at home so it will be one day a week in the office. Preferably only between 10am to 2pm to avoid the traffic but appears any time of the day you can run into problems?

Not really desk bound job so least time stuck in traffic the better.

Do like to pop in to the office though for the social interaction

Get most of my work out between 5am and 7am in the morning and 8pm and 11pm at night

Piffle

"Men that lunch" don't "get stuck in traffic":

To your rescue:

Orbic Air's Helicopter Charter Services offer a quick and convenient alternative for business travelers with tight deadlines. Avoid the stress of the LA traffic while cutting your commute time in half. We can take you to any Southern California Municipal Airport such as... Santa Monica Airport (SMO), Long Beach Airport (KLGB) ..."
