London Interview - 8am ?
Hi all,
Just in case some one out there has been to the London US Embassy lately.
My interview letter states that my visa appointment is at 8am. Does everyone get this appointment time or is it staggered throughout the morning?
If every one is given 8am, what time have people been arriving at the embassy - 7am, 7:30am ?
Any advice will be greatly received.
Thanks

My appointment letter had 8am as I believe everyones does. You have to be at the
medical at 8am sharp. Then after your doctors examination, with your x-ray in your
hand, you go straight over to the embassy for the final bits and bobs.

Re: London Interview - 8am ?
I believe the 8am medical is for K1. Other visa types did go in reverse order
(embassy first then to medical) back at the end of 2000.

Re: London Interview - 8am ?
Hi,
I just got back from my interview in London and will post full info
on here in the next day or so.
To answer your specific question.
1/. All fiancee visas go to the medical first.
2/. Spousal visas with surnames beginning A-H go to the medical
first then the interview.
3/. Spousal visas I-Z go to the interview first then the medical.
I got to the Embassy at 7.30 and joined the queue, they opened
the gates just after 8 and called for people who had 8am appointments (if it's raining take an umbrella as the queue is
"open to the elements" !!)
As I've said I'll post more later, I hope this helps for now
Good luck
Roger
