Default Local Regional Variations?

So there much difference between costs and stuff locally?

For a laugh, we went out to Milford to check out Big Lots, because the one we use to go to in Maine was pretty good...anyway, it's only about 13 miles west of here, and it weren't bad...but then checked out Hannafords, and the groceries were a hell of a lot cheaper....fresh stuff wasn't any different...but there's a much bigger Brazilian population there than in town here, so more fun spices and the like, oh, and the curry sauces were a lot cheaper.

Oh, and get a lot more house for your money, just sod all rentals....quite impressive what 10 miles can do...roads were proper shite though, so it's all a trade off.

When we lived in VA, we used to travel the short distance from Newport News to Yorktown to buy ciggies & gas. We'd save about $15 per carton of fags and, I dunno, 20 cents a gallon on gas.

I haven't found anywhere yet in PA like that but we're in a fairly rural and cheap area anyway. Have to travel to great shops but they are more expensive.

And that is one of the reasons I've always recommended renting for at least six months, but preferably a year when you first move here.

Aye, it's a lovely area, probably more affordable, and diverse...seems' a bigger city feel to it too...but even further to Boston, and no public transport links....that and petrol was a lot more pricer over there...

But some lovely towns in between....really need to check out more towns around here, we've only really explored heading east towards bean town.

I only smoke a couple a week when a mate has one...not smoking isn't a problem, I stop at will... but I do like the 5 min stroll around the car park to get out of the office.
