I quite enjoy some of the regional variations on the Fish n chips theme. In San Francisco, they usually serve your meal with three small pieces of fish in beer batter with a side of coleslaw. I've had many a fine meal in the touristy restuarants above pier 39 down by the wharf. Expect to pay between $10 to $15 dollars for your meal though.

There is also a huge curry house just down the road from me in Phoenix. Its called "Taste of India", but I am yet to sample its delights, as my fiance isnt keen on Indian food.

AZ is Mexican food central though, so I am eating way more Mexican/Tex Mex style cooking these days, which I love. I guess thats why I am not craving too many home style meals.
