Yes - very probably the case (although even that doesn't mean that there is no hope - the waiver may not be valid or may not cover some set of circumstances relevant to this case) - I admit that the suggestion of suing is "clutching at straws" but I'm not sure that the OP has much to lose - the biggest practical problem is that finding a cause of action in here that might stand up in court is not a do it yourself job and good attorneys don't come cheap.

Even if you had good Health Insurance, they may not pay if you were motor bike racing, probably some clause. Maybe I should run off check mine, though no intention of racing.

Standard vehicle or bike Insurance would prohibit racing.

Race track may be more liable, but cost you to find out. Plus as others said you most likely signed a waiver.

Ps. Don't sign any Track Insurance release, without fully checking, with lawyer or advisor.
