I saw a Nissan Cube with the plate "rubicks" a while back.

Briefly distracted me from the horrible car anyway.

I saw an NC tag "L337 WRX" on a Subaru Imprezza WRX a few years ago (NC tags are otherwise "LLL nnnn" format.) Although there was no other sticker or sign on the vehicle I am certain it belonged to a Brit who had registered his US vehicle with his British registration number.

L337 is also a 'gamer' tag - it means LEET - or elite. so it could have been a hardcore gamer type.
