libraries

I have lived in Hilo Hawaii for 3 months now from the UK and I need to know what do I need to join a library in the United States?

I have not got a social security number yet as it is my husband who is working, not I but I do have a A2 or A3 visa

Before I take my kids there I just want to know if there are any specific rules

Thanks  does that mean I need a Social Security number to join as ID?
What else could I use as ID?

Passport and a letter with your name and address on it.

Re: libraries

Depends on the library, usually just need proof that your a resident of the town where the library is, so a drivers license, or a utility bill...could always just send a card to yourself then you'll have something with your name and address on it, that'll do for most libraries.

Well, call them when they *are* open! It's not like this is some life and death decision! Here's a thought... Google is your friend.
