Letter from SS Finally
#1
In the accumulated mail, pile high and deep in our absence was a letter from the SS office where Jim applied to have his conditions removed from the card.
The letter stated they are in receipt of his May 14th request for a social security card and if he does not receive it in two weeks to bring the letter to their office.
Now the strange part is it does not mentioned the removal of the conditions and we are now wondering if they are issuing a "new" number to him instead of just the same number with no legend.
Also wondering why they say a date of May 14 for the request when the request was made in mid-April.
One thinks the social security office is a bit wooly at the moment.
Now if only the Congresswoman would hear something about the green card. Her inquiry to INS was about three weeks ago.
