This is Suzy - she has endured a bad start (she was a basket case when I adopted her at 2 yrs), two TransAtlantic crossings, and 6 months quarantine in Scotland. We're off to the Appalachain Trail next week! She is the best dog a man could wish for (I'm sure some of you will have other opinions)

Nothing quite compares to giving a dog a home that has had a bad start! I got Rosie at 14 months from a rescue centre and she was a complete nervous wreck! For the first six months I spent all my time cleaning up after her .... she was so nervous she had no control over bladder!!

Even after all these years she still tends to be on the nervous side with strangers, but she is very happy and content!
