Leaving New York and need to sell
 
Hello,

just wondered if anyone could offer advice on selling electrics. We have a few items that we unfortunately can't take with us back home so wondered if anyone is moving here and would want to buy it or if you could suggest a good place to advertise it??? Any help would be appreciated.

I've used Craigslist to sell electrical stuff before. It's probably the easiest but not always successful - might take some time to find a buyer. I sold a big, old TV a couple of years ago to a family who'd just moved to the area and didn't have anything at all in their apartment.

Advertise any items that you cannot sell on Freecycle :)

Please leave an ad for your items in the classified section. Also try Craigslist.

I recently sold a load of old camera shit on eBay and was astounded at what people were prepared to pay for it. :thumbup:
