It depends where in England and when you want to travel. It also depends
whether you want a oneway or a return. In some cases, charter flights can
be cheapest but you have restricted legroom and only 20kg baggage
allowance, so it may be worth paying extra for a scheduled airline to get
an allowance of 64kg as well as a couple of inches extra legroom.

www.expedia.co.uk will give you some of the lowest and from there you can click to HOTWIRE to give you even lower (if you don't care about number of stops or which Airline they will select FOR YOU)...

A friend who works in the UK and in Orlando always flies Continental.
However, his is a business flight and his business may get volume discounts. You don't mention whether or not you are bothered with frequent flyer miles, or how long in advance you can book the flight, or when and for how long you are travelling, or whether you're willing to wait for a fare sale, or whether you'd be flexible about leaving from Heathrow, Gatwick, or Manchester -- all of which would affect the fare.
This time of year you might well be better off flying into Atlanta and then booking a flight or hiring a car to get to your destination as there are some attractive fare sales on BA.

Probably get a cheap one way on AirTran from ATL to MCO, or from IAD, or from NYC. Usually on commercial (non charters) the East coast gateways cheaper from England. Then you look at AirTran, Jet Blue, Southwest for cheap inland connecting flights.

I chose ATL cos it's only a tenner more than going to JFK on the BA fare sale. That's not bad!
you can even book that fare sale less than two weeks in advance, but it's ending 16 March ![Sad](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/smilies/sad.gif)
Hartsfield is rather a nightmare though.

True, it's eight hours, but for me that's just a country drive in Texas
However I did wonder -- with a user name like 'floridadude' it sounded as if the original poster lived or was going to emigrate to Florida, rather than a tourist. If s/he is a tourist I am renaming myself 'englishdudette.'![Stick Out Tongue](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
If floridadude is fetching mates or family, then I'm sure he'll sort it.

As of right now, for example ,AirTran has a 1 way fare from ATL to MCO for 115.00-2 week advance purchase, subject to availability..
