From The Land of the Pilgrims to ...

all our new age "pilgrims" starting a new life in worlds unfamiliar, my wish for all of you, my family and friends, a few minutes of thankfulness for all you have in your lives....the friends, the family, the shelter. Be they far or near, may the love bind you closer. A special day is not needed for those moments but I take this one to thank you for joining me on my journey in life.

Happy Thanksgiving all.

I have such a strong memory of this day last year. I wrote how thankful we were that my stepdaughter and her husband, after many years of heartbreak at not being able to conceive, had been approved to adopt - and that became a reality this March, when they adopted a newborn girl. They're all coming here for Christmas, which has delighted Sheila beyond words! :)

I'm just happy to have everyone visit and watch my new TV! ;)

Ian
