Lake Tahoe Skiing

We are going to Lake Tahoe for about 4 days and wondered if any of you have been and can recommend any fave resorts...we have ruled out the big ones like heavenly and sugar bowl (too big) and we are looking at Mount Rose, Sierra at Tahoe and Homewood. My hubby is a advanced snowboarder and I am a green run skier who is not so good at stopping !
Cheers

Never been but you might want to make your decision based on snow conditions - this has not been a good winter for Tahoe. At least that's the word I get from those who ski out there.

I've been to Heavenly, and it was great. It's great for snow boarding and skiing, difficult and no so difficult. Great views of the lake too. Loved it there. Have fun.
