Hi - I am in the US on an L1-A visa and am facing the possibility of redundancy. I also have the work experience equivalent to a BS in CS, suitable for an H1 visa, but my company decided to apply for L1.

Do you know what options are open to me to enable me to stay if I no longer work for the company that sponsored the visd ...

thanks,
nik

I think you have no options at all and have to start from the beginning. I don't
believe L1 gets you anywhere. I may be wrong, though.

Good luck, I'm an L1 and always fear that day.
