Default Knightsbridge price hike

Looks like Knightsbridge are banging the prices up in September. They blame Gonorrhea testing and treatment requirements.

Not much time left for people who want to get in at the current pricing.

Out of curiosity, I decided to see what their prices used to be (using way back machine). Back in 2007 it was £200 and it has risen ever since.

Interestingly enough, the US's medical isn't as expensive as the other countries they cater for.

I'm guessing the price differential is due in part because for other countries such as Canada they are actually looking to see if you have any conditions which would prove to be expensive to the health care system. Whereas the US just wants to know if you are a risk to the public

That's a good idea. I've never looked at it that way.

I don't know hot it works for other countries but for Canada they've worked out what the average citizen costs per year in health costs and are looking to make sure you don't have anything that would cost above that

Do you know if Canada still waives the excessive medical cost for spouses coming over?

I know they did back in the early 2000's.

Nifty. Not even sure why I would care, not even going through any immigration stuff nor plan to, suppose I was just curious if they had changed the rules.
