Talking Kids TV from the UK

I figured I'd start things off witha little nostalgia
http://www.tv-ark.org.uk/
Under Genres on the left menu, there is childrens TV
(the public information films are pretty good too)

I used to love Bagpuss (don't see it on there) I brought the video for my kids a few years back, sadly they don't share the same enthusiasm
See where you get your inspiration from, I don't ever remember watching Chorlton
Camberwick Green and Chigley were fav's too

Harrumph

I think a rather stiffly worded missive of complaint will be shortly making its way from New Jersey for this shocking omission.

Is it just me, or are the theme tunes from Rhubard & Custard and Grange Hill (the original theme tune of course!) a couple of the greatest theme tunes ever!

While I was there I checked out some of the ads as well..

"The Water In Majorca....."

"I'm A Secret Lemonade Drinker...."

"It's Too Orangey For Crows, It's Just For Me And My Dog..."

Ahhhh, they do make them like that any more.

We all Ador-a Kia-Ora!

Love it. Much better than Super MangaAnimeman From Planet Zrogon, or whatever kids watch these days
