Hi, we are south of Houston closer to the coastline. We've been in this area since the eighties and beleive me the heat and humidity don't get any easier to cope with.

There are several people here that live in the Houston area. 6 mths eh? Are you still in the honeymoon period or has reality set in yet?
Pull up a chair...I'm sure you'll feel quite at home here. Oh and expect quite a bit of sarcasm...but don't let it put you off it's all just a bit of fun. Oh and there are several nutters too...not me of course...I'm quite normal.

I too live in Houston, over on the West side of the city. It takes some getting used to but not at all bad really. Bit bloody parky this am tho
I am a Scot, but still cant get used to the cooler days here. My husband says I have crossed over big time LOL

Cor blimey, wasnt half cold this morning. My bloody nose was frozen when I went out earlier, and I was wearing gloves (but not on my nose obviously)
